A Day Without Hunger Loaves and Fishes Community Pantry
WHEN: June 5, 2008 (Thursday) TIME: 7:30 AM - 11:55 PM
To commemorate National Hunger Awareness Day, Loaves & Fishes will be open to distribute food and accept donations for 24 hours beginning at 7:30 am with a Media Breakfast. From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., we will have free hot dogs, burgers, and brats for the community to enjoy; those who have the means and wish to make a free will donation may do so. Other events will be held during the 24 hours.

WARRENVILLE ROCK BOTTOM RESTAURANT DONATES 10% OF HOLIDAY GIFT CARD SALES TO US!
The Rock Bottom Restaurant located on Diehl Road in the AMC Cantera complex will once again donate 10% of all holiday gift cards sold through the end of the year to Loaves & Fishes! Your holiday gift-giving is easier, and you are benefiting the Pantry, at the same time. While supplies last, your gift card will be packaged with a limited edition mug in a gift box.Last year, this effort raised more than $1,700.
Rock Bottom also donates to Loaves & Fishes during their monthly tappings, which take place the third Thursday of each month. Don't miss the opportunity to sample a new brew while helping Loaves & Fishes. Each month patrons are encouraged to donate items on our monthly wish list as well as make cash donations. Tappings remaining this year begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th and Thursday, December 20th. Watch for 2008 dates!
