Volunteer Opportunities -
Can you volunteer 2 hours a week? A month? Please let us know if you are able to help with the following:
Home Delivery to the elderly at nearby neighborhood apartments
Regular Baggers every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Heavy Stockers: Must be able to lift 30 - 40 pounds, Tuesdays from 9:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m.
Substitute Distribution Help: Every Tues 1 p.m.-3 p.m., Wed. 9:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., Sat 9 a.m.-11 a.m. each week.
Substitute Pick Up and/or Delivery Drivers: Each weekday morning except Wednesdays.
Cleaners at the Pantry: Twice a month, the pantry needs some cleaning; sweep and mop the warehouse, vacuum, clean restrooms, counter and carts.
Produce Pick Up: During the summer, volunteers are needed three evenings (6:30-7:30 p.m.) per week to pick up produce at a nearby farm.

Sunday at the Pantry : 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. This day is available for mostly students and school age kids (10 years or older, under 16 years must have a parent with them to volunteer) in need of their community course services, confirmations, merit badges, etc.

Individuals may volunteer for the hours noted in the "Contact Us" page. Groups are also welcome. The minimum age to volunteer for food distribution to clients is 19. However, families with children may volunteer in home deliveries. The driver of the van must be 21.
The minimum age to work in the Pantry without a parent present is 16. With a parent present the minimum age is 10. These limits are for the safety of all volunteers.
All volunteers must complete an application form and parents must sign their consent if a child is under 18 years old.
